I have to admit I do love wrapping presents. In the run up to Christmas I’m in my element.
Yesterday I shared with you the card I made for Noah’s dedication, well no Christening would be complete without a gift, so here’s how I ‘dressed up’ Noah’s present Stampin’ Up! stylee.
I’ve created a tag with whisper white cardstock and stamped the super cute pig image from the Button Buddies stamp set in pretty in pink. I’ve then added a coordinating button and used the gorgeous two tone ribbon to wrap around my Kraft gift box. Would you believe you get 3 of the Kraft boxes for just £2.75 – bargain!

I’ve created the background using the double embossing technique. I made this card as part an online party and thought I’d share it with you all so you can see exactly how I made the background.

Well I can see that you’ve all fallen in love with This and That already! I’m getting very excited about the UPS man delivering my copy so that I can record some of the many memories from Manchester last week. 4 days with lots of giggles and beds on wheels! Roll on Stampin’ Up! convention in November which is going to be in Manchester this year.

I’m in not so sunny (well it is 7 O’clock) Manchester exhibiting at the Creative Crafts Show. I’m sat here perched on my bed in the hotel room thinking about all of the lovely crafters that I’ve met over the last couple of days. So many happy memories from this show and every other Stampin’ Up! event that I do, that I can’t wait to get my sticky little mits on my This and That journal.

Does anyone know where the time goes? I’m very behind on so many things at home, I’m hoping that Bernard will lend me his watch very, very soon.
Today’s card is a quick thank you I’ve made for some of my lovely customers. It’s using the beautiful butterfly from the Bloomin’ Marvelous stamp set which is available as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion. Oooh my word, it’s a bit nippy again this evening! I thought we’d seen the last of the snow for this winter, but it appears I was wrong.

I’ve used the super cute butterfly from the Bloomin Marvelous set and stamped in Island Indigo. I’ve added some dazzling details glitter using a 2 way glue pen and then punched out using the fantastic new butterfly punch from the Spring / Summer catalogue which also co-ordinates with the Pappilion Potpouri set. I’ve mounted onto a whisper white card base using a dimensional and added my sentiment from the Bloomin Marvelous set.
Really quick and simple card. I hope you like it!
