We’ll be enjoying our first ever craft and chat at The Stables on Saturday 12th October from 10am – 4pm. Join us for a day of ‘me time’. There will be lots of fun throughout the day.
If you love to craft with your friends or maybe want to make some new ones who love to craft just like you, then why not book a place? The Craft and Chat is a crop is perfect for scrapbookers and cardmakers. As this is a crop, croppers bring their own inks, card, pens and other consumables, along with their cardmaking or scrapbooking project and work on this during the day.
Cost includes your space at the crafty table, a craft kit, goody bag, refreshments and cake. It will be possible to order one of our kits to make up on the day (kit details coming soon)

Hi Di Ho peeps!
It’s birthday central around here at the moment. I’ve had 10 family and friends who have celebrated their birthday in the last 4 days. I fear the last couple of weeks have been rather busy so I’m somewhat behind on my birthday card making. The card makers amongst you will probably know my dilemma, what’s worse, sending someone a shop bought card *gasp* or not sending one at all? I think I’ve got to get cracking on some happy belated birthday cards!
I’ve got a birthday card class at the end of the month, so hopefully I won’t get into this predicament again for a while!
Here’s one of the cards we’ll be making at the class.
Stamps: Make a Wish
Papers: Gingham Garden DSP
Cardstock: Whisper White, Island Indigo
Stamp n write markers: Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight
Accessories: Bitty butterfly punch (bundle discount when bought with the Papillion Potpourri stamp set during September), Rhinestones, Gingham Garden Washi Tape
You can now buy all of the items to make this card using my online shop!!!

I’ve made a lovely little gift card holder using the fantabulous pop and cuts die and the Festive Flurry stamp set and co-ordinating dies. I used my magnetic big shot platform to cut out the snowflakes perfectly another of my can’t live without tools!
I am so in love with the Frosted Finish Embellishments. The photographs really do not do these justice….

Ink: Pool Party, Island Indigo
Papers: Pool Party cordinations cardstock, Winter Frost designer series stack
Dies: Pop and Cuts die, Festive Flurry framelets

On Saturday I’ll be running a class at a brand new venue in West Bridgford in Nottingham for a special introductory price of £5 (normally £12.50)
We’re going to making 5 birthday cards during the class, here’s one of the projects…
I’ve used the Beautiful Baroque embossing folder on some coaster board and inked it up with some costal cabana ink using my brayer. I’ve added some ruffle stretch ribbon in costal cabana and teamed it with some matching cardstock and some Basic Black and Very Vanilla. The sentiment is from label love and has a co-ordinating punch – yay!!!
So what do you think? Has my shameless plug tempted you to come along on Saturday for 2 hours of crafty fun? If it has then you can book your place here!
Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
And to celebrate my fellow teamies and I are having a blog hop!
I am very lucky in that I have some of the nicest neighbours you could possibly imagine, they put my bin away every week and are forever taking in my many parcels of crafty loveliness. How little do they know of the wonder that lies beneath the brown cardboard…I thought I would seize the opportunity to make them a thank you gift.
I’ve used the Tag a Bag Gift Boxes (130927) which are food safe – yay! – and Tag a Bag Accessory kit (130153) and filled them with some Nutella and chocolate orange crispies that I made using a recipe I found on Pinterest.
I stamped the acetate sleeve of the box using my white staz-on ink (106960) and one of the flowers from the Secret Garden stamp set (131940(w), 129144(c))
I added a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set (132022(w), 126257(c)) using one of the brand new colours Smoky Slate (131179) and cut it out with the co-ordinating Bitty Banners Framelets (129267)
My absolute favourite thing is the roses I made using the Simply Pressed Clay Mould (131272) and Simply Pressed Clay (130685). I coloured one of the roses using my Pistachio Pudding re-inker (131166)
Do you think my neighbours will like them? Ben has tried the chocolate orange crispies and is demanding more, but a 3 year old with a sweet tooth isn’t exactly a food critic.
You can check out the whole catalogue online here!!!

I have to admit I do love wrapping presents. In the run up to Christmas I’m in my element.
Yesterday I shared with you the card I made for Noah’s dedication, well no Christening would be complete without a gift, so here’s how I ‘dressed up’ Noah’s present Stampin’ Up! stylee.
I’ve created a tag with whisper white cardstock and stamped the super cute pig image from the Button Buddies stamp set in pretty in pink. I’ve then added a coordinating button and used the gorgeous two tone ribbon to wrap around my Kraft gift box. Would you believe you get 3 of the Kraft boxes for just £2.75 – bargain!
